2. Data processed
When you submit a request, we may process the selected types of work, property type and your ownership or occupancy status, location, approximate floor area, budget, preferred timeline, project status, priorities, project description, any uploaded photos, your name, phone number, email address, contact preferences, and the date and version of your consent choices.
3. Purposes of processing
This information is used to process and review your request, check the information needed, contact you about the project and share the request with partner companies that may be suitable for it. Marketing consent is separate and optional.
4. Sharing with partner companies
Project information is shared only with construction and renovation partner companies active in Belgium, for the purpose of assessing your project, providing a quote and contacting you about the request. It is not used for unrelated commercial purposes. Technical hosting and email providers may process the data only as necessary to provide those technical services.
5. Retention period
Data related to quote requests and projects is retained for a maximum of 12 months from receipt of the request, unless a legal obligation requires a different period.
6. Google Search Console
The website may use Google Search Console to monitor indexing and performance in Google Search. No analytics or advertising tag is enabled on the website for this purpose in this version.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction or, where the legal conditions apply, deletion or restriction of processing by contacting info@renovation-bruxelles.com.
Contact messages, partner applications and local draft
The contact form processes the contact details and message needed to reply to you. The partner form processes professional information needed to assess a potential collaboration. The main request form may store certain non-sensitive project choices locally on your device so you can continue later. Your name, phone number, email address, photos and free-text project description are not stored in this local draft.
Form statistics and technical diagnostics
If you accept optional statistics, the website counts form starts, steps and outcomes by day and language. These statistics are hosted on our server and contain no contact details, free text, photos or visitor identifier. Your choice is stored on your device and can be withdrawn using the Cookies button. Aggregate counters are kept for up to 90 days. Separate technical counters of messages accepted or rejected by the mail server help check that the forms work; they contain no request details.
Legal bases and optional choices
Handling a quote request, contact enquiry or partner application relies on the precontractual steps you request, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). For a quote request, sharing with professionals is part of the service you expressly request, separate from marketing permission. Optional marketing and optional statistics rely on consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Refusing either option does not prevent a request.
Recipients and how the service works
The request is first emailed to our team. After review, it may be shared with up to three construction or renovation professionals active in Belgium and relevant to the work and area, subject to availability. Necessary contact details and photos may be included. Recipients process the information to assess the project, contact you through your chosen channel and prepare a quote; you can request their own privacy information. ROMARG provides hosting, email and technical backups. This version does not include a Google Analytics tag, advertising pixel or AI service processing your request.
Required information, photos and security
Required fields are needed to handle the relevant request. Without them or without a request for introductions, the quote service cannot be provided; you can still ask a question through the contact form. Photos and marketing are optional. Do not add identity documents, bank details, medical information or unnecessary photos identifying people. Data is sent to our server and service mailbox; photos are not automatically published. IP addresses, dates and technical connection information may be used by the host and abuse prevention controls, not to build advertising profiles. The form makes no fully automated decision producing legal effects.
Your rights and withdrawing permission
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@renovation-bruxelles.com, preferably with the request reference. A proportionate identity check may be necessary. We normally reply within one month and notify you of any permitted extension. Withdraw marketing consent by email and statistics consent through Cookies, without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may ask to stop an ongoing introduction. For data already shared, you may also exercise rights with the recipients. You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Local storage and retention
The browser remembers language, appearance, text size and privacy choice until changed or site data is cleared. The non-sensitive form draft expires after 30 days and is cleared after successful submission or through the provided button. Contact details, photos and free text are not stored in that draft. Aggregate statistics are retained for up to 90 days and cleaned when a new count is written. Request emails and photos follow the 12-month period stated above, except where a legal obligation or defence of a right requires otherwise. Technical logs and backup copies follow the host’s retention cycles and are not reused for marketing.
